Corinne MacLellan
Active in the areas of community, government and media relations, marketing, communications, corporate engagement, public affairs, and event production since 1994, Corinne MacLellan is communications principal and founder at CMC, and is recognized as a communications specialist. Corinne has maintained a diverse cross-sectoral portfolio focussed on defence, First Nations, natural resources and infrastructure development.
Corinne was recently named chair of the NS Canadian Forces Liaison Council and sits on the Honorary Colonel advisory council to the Chief of Defence Staff, General Jennie Carignan. In 2019 she was appointed as Hon. Lieutenant Colonel of the Halifax Rifles by the Minister of National Defence, Harjit Sajjan and was recently advanced to the rank of Honorary Colonel by Minister Bill Blair. She is a former in-Canada representative for the Belgian Government, and communications advisor to the Assembly of First Nations regionally. She sits on the Board of Governors of the Army Museum Halifax Citadel and is Chair of the NS Canadian Forces Liaisons Council for NS. Her work with the Indigenous community is ongoing through the Millbrook First Nation Economic Development Corporation Board and the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre – Wije’winen Centre development. She is a proud past Governor Commissionaires NS and received the Distinguished Service Medal in 2022.
